【All The King's Men】國王人馬
本片根據小說家羅柏華倫的暢銷鉅作改編，描寫美國南方政治家威力史塔克，其縱橫政壇、呼風喚雨的傳奇事蹟。 從他擔任小小的南方議員，到晉身華盛頓特區，所有過程中的艱辛掙扎，都將在電影中淋漓呈現。
眾星雲集，應該很有張力的劇情，不知道為什麼，竟然讓我看的失望。
主旨很清楚，可是主角性格卻不明確，導致故事張力發揮不出來，有點被悶住的感覺，難怪他的票房有限。
Willie，一位本來應該是淳樸善良的人，不知道是因為環境使人腐敗，還是權勢讓人盲目，當權後的他，變了。
Jack，聰明有想法的記者，卻甘心淪為Willie的打手，為的是什麼？只是因為想要做自己？
Anne，我不是很清楚她的角色對部電影有何影響，因此也不知道該說什麼。
Adam，善良卻愚笨的醫生，充滿理想，卻沒有勇氣堅持，除了嘆息，還是嘆息。
Sadie，工於心計的女人，就不知道，造成Willie死亡的人是她？還是Tiny？
我沒有看過原著，也沒有看過之前的改編電影，我只看了西恩潘。
Willie，他的崛起在於勇敢、樸實，但他的墜落也是因為他的樸實，因為他也許貪心，卻不夠貪婪，他狡猾，卻不夠狠心，所以他最終死於自己招來的禍難，他身邊唯一對他沒有貪念的人，只有Jack還有他的司機。
電影的最後，結束在Willie發表演說的無聲畫面，那樣的氣派，就是他可以當選州長的原因，只可惜，他還來不及對自己的承諾作出實際的舉動，就血流議會了……
